We have the only Manual Therapy Certified Therapist in the region, and are trained to treat any movement limitation or pain.

Dr. Dawn Muller, PT, MTC, DPT, Cert. DN
Dawn opened Thrive Physical Therapy and Fitness, LLC. in 2008 with a desire to treat patients in a one-on-one environment with expert care and a personal touch.
Dawn graduated from the Medical College of Georgia, did graduate work at Georgia State, and completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Dawn is the only physical therapist in the region who is a Certified Manual Therapist (MTC) and one of the only Women's Health Specialists in southeast Georgia and North Florida. Dawn has treated collegiate, professional, and Olympic athletes, as well as, professional dancers.
Dawn lives with her husband here in Thomasville, and has two grown sons making her proud in their own fields. She enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, and working out.
Dr. Brian Kimrey, RN, PT, DPT
Brian graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Florida A&M University in 2018. He received his Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Florida State University in 2013. He has worked previously in the inpatient rehab setting as well as in inpatient psychiatry and offers a unique approach to individualization of care.
Brian lives in Tallahassee where he spends his free time with his beautiful girlfriend, Susan, and their almost-as-beautiful dog Buford. He enjoys working out, playing drums and reading educational materials or the news.
Walter VanHeiningen, PTA
Wally graduated from with his Associate of Science as a Physical Therapy Assistant from Albany state University in 2018. He received his Master of Public Administration from Walden University in 203 and his Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies from Georgia Southern University in 2005. Wally also honorably served in the United States Marine Corps from 2006 to 2009 - Semper Fidelis! In 2017, Wally resigned from a long-standing career in Law Enforcement from both the Thomas County Sheriff’s Office and the Thomasville Police Department. Wally’s own experience with physical therapy began in 2015 following a surgical repair to a torn ankle tendon. His experiences as a patient opened his eyes to this rewarding career in which his passion for helping others could safely continue.
Following his military career, Wally, a Thomasville native, returned to Thomasville and married his wife Kylene in 2010. Wally and Kylene still live in Thomasville where they spend most of their time raising their two boys, Preston (6) and Parker (3). Wally enjoys yard work and and finds them both quite therapeutic. Wally spends his spare time enjoying his family and doing DIY tasks around the house.
Tabatha Rewis, Office Manager
Tabatha joined Thrive in 2015 and brings experience in customer service and organization. She enjoys meeting and getting to know all of our patients before their meetings with the therapist. She knows the ins and outs of all the behind the scenes administration to make your care seamless and efficient.
Tabatha lives in Ochlocknee, where she and her husband pastor The Bridge Church of God. They have one son who is 15-going-on-30. The Rewis family enjoys playing and singing music together, as well as volunteering with different service organizations in the Thomas County area.
Gerry is the friendly staff member who will escort you to your treatment. She also works in our back office making sure that all of the behind the scenes items are completed. We are fortunate to have her experience. Gerry is also the voice on your call reminders.
Originally from Canada, Gerry has lived in Thomasville the past 20+ years with her husband where she likes to cook and stay busy.
Melissa joined Thrive in 2015 and provides administrative support across the organization. She is your first point of contact and works to efficiently schedule appointments that fit your lifestyle.
Melissa lives in Coolidge with her husband and five fur-babies. She enjoys spending time with friends and family and being outdoors, especially at the beach.
